Research Alpha – Forum Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Research Alpha community forum ("the Forum"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you participate in any Group Buy (“GB”), surplus sale, vendor split, or coordinated order facilitated through the Forum, you additionally agree to the Group Buy Participation Terms set forth in Section 10 of this agreement.

If you do not agree, do not create an account or participate.

2. Eligibility

This Forum is intended for adults. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate this requirement.

3. Nature of the Forum

This is a community discussion platform operated by Rocky Mountain RPG Guild LLC DBA Sam’s Supplies.

Content shared on this Forum is for informational and discussion purposes only and does not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice.

4. User Accounts

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Maintain account security
  • Do not share login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post unlawful or fraudulent content
  • Share private information of others
  • Harass or intimidate users
  • Circumvent moderation
  • Disrupt or exploit the platform
  • Share restricted sourcing or internal operational details

Moderation decisions are final.

6. Public Nature of Content

Unless marked private, posts may be visible to other users and potentially indexed by search engines. Posts may remain visible even if your account is anonymized.

7. Moderation Authority

Administrators may edit, move, remove content, restrict access, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at their discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Forum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Rocky Mountain RPG Guild LLC and Sam’s Supplies are not liable for user-generated content, reliance on information shared, vendor actions, or technical interruptions.

9. Hosting & Jurisdiction

This Forum is hosted on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in the United States.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Utah. All disputes must be resolved exclusively in Utah.

10. Group Buy Participation Terms

10.1 Research Use Only (RUO)

All coordinated items are strictly for Research Use Only and are not intended for human or animal use.

Sam’s Supplies does not provide medical advice, dosage guidance, or usage instructions.

10.2 Scope of Role

Sam’s Supplies acts solely as a community coordinator, logistics facilitator, and provider of research storage tools. It is not a pharmaceutical distributor, licensed wholesaler, or medical provider.

10.3 Assumption of Risk

Participants assume all risks including transit loss, customs delays, vendor delays, cosmetic imperfections, and lack of efficacy.

No warranties are made, express or implied.

10.4 Shipping Timelines

  • Group Buys: up to 20 weeks
  • Vendor Splits: up to 16 weeks
  • On-hand items: typically 72 hours

Participants agree to allow up to 100 days for issue resolution before initiating disputes or chargebacks.

10.5 Refunds & Replacements

Refunds are only considered for verified systemic group-wide issues.

Personal dissatisfaction, cosmetic defects, anecdotal claims, or delayed complaints (30+ days) do not qualify.

10.6 Confidentiality

Participants agree not to share supplier identities, sourcing methods, internal documentation, private testing files, participant identities, or restricted forum content.

10.7 Indemnification

Participants release and hold harmless Sam’s Supplies and Rocky Mountain RPG Guild LLC from liability and agree to indemnify them against legal or financial harm arising from misuse or breach of these terms.

10.8 Dispute Resolution

All disputes must first attempt informal resolution and be filed exclusively in Utah under Utah law.

10.9 Duration

Participation in any Group Buy binds you to these terms for one (1) year from your most recent participation.

11. Final Acknowledgment

By creating an account, participating in discussions, joining a Group Buy, or submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
